I am a free soul imprisoned in the melodies of love,

I carry wings of undiscovered dreams,

Millions of mysteries in your eyes,

Unfolding each one of them,

Feels like life is better than a dream..

How do you manage to build,

Such a strong castle of trust,

Holding just your hands,

Feels like conquering the world...

How do you manage to fill,

So much joy in the hearts,

Everything turns better than perfect,

By just having you around...

You are a gift to the world,

And I can't thank God enough,

For keeping me alive today,

And share a tiny corner of this world,

Far apart yet so close within my heart...

इस बार टूटे तो बिखरे नहीं

बह गए हवा के साथ आसमान में

बादलों ने पूछा जब क्या हुआ?

बरस कर वापस जमीं की बाहों में खो गए...

कितना भी मिले हम तुम, मिलन फिर भी अधूरा है,

यूं रब ने एक रूह को दो हिस्सों में तोड़ा है.

मुझमें है झलक तेरी, तुझमें मैं नजर आऊं

इतनी दूरियों में भी, मोहब्बत ने यूं जोड़ा है.

बड़ी प्यारी सी लड़की है, कभी कोई ज़िद नही करती

मुझे फुरसत नहीं, इस बात की शिकायत भी नही करती

जो थामा हाथ भर उसका, बस उसने जिंदगी दे दी,

परी है आसमान की वो, यहां की तो नही लगती.

बड़ा प्यारा सा लड़का है, बहुत खयाल रखता है

उसे फुरसत नहीं फिर भी, मेरी बातें याद रखता है

इतने चाहने वालों में, मेरा हाथ थामा है,

फरिश्ता आसमान का है, मेरी आंखों में रहता है...

अल्फाज!

ना जाने कैसे लोग कहते हैं कि

बातें दिल दुखाती हैं

हमें तो तकलीफ उन अल्फाजों से हैं

जो आप हमसे कभी कहते नहीं!

मशरूफ बहुत हो ना अपनी दुनिया में

इसलिए शायद समझ नही पाए

वो जो तुम्हे कभी कभी लगता है किसी ने आवाज दी

तुम्हारा वहम नही है, 

बड़ी शिद्दत से कहीं किसी को याद आते हो!

कहना तो इतना कुछ है के कयामत तक बातें खतम ही ना हों,

पर कमबख्त वक्त ही इतना कम है

तो चलो तुम्हे जी भर के देखने की तमन्ना ही पूरी कर लेते हैं

पर लगता है वो भी मुमकिन नहीं

क्योंकि तुम्हारी आंखों के समंदर में 

हमारी पलकों के जहाज ज्यादा देर तक ठीक नहीं पाते,

डूब जाते हैं.

कभी सोचते हैं कि क्या होता जो हर किसी को उनकी मोहब्बत मिल जाती

सारी हसरतें पूरी हो जाती

हर ख्वाब मुकम्मल हो जाता

क्या फिर सबकुछ बेहतरीन होता या 

जिंदगी से इस बात की शिकायत होती

कि चांद को पाने की ख्वाहिश

चांद मिलने से ज्यादा हसीन हुआ करती थी!

बादलों की चादर ओढ़कर चांद मुझे देखता रहा,

मैं भी अंधेरे में आंखे मूंद कर उसे ही सोचता रहा,

कभी मौसम ने तो कभी वक्त ने, कुछ ऐसे इम्तिहान रख दिए

कि हमारा प्यार बस खामोशियों में ही आगे बढ़ता रहा!

उनको अच्छी नहीं लगती मोहब्बत की बातें

क्योंकि वो practical बहुत हैं

हमे पसंद नहीं आतीं rational बातें

क्योंकि हम emotional बहुत हैं

अब इस conflict का ही तो खेल है सारा

कि हमारी कहानी में सब कुछ खामोशी में बंद है!

तुम कह दोगे तो समझ ही जायेंगे

तुम नहीं कहोगे तो भी समझ जायेंगे

क्योंकि तुम्हारे शब्दों और मौन के बीच की

कहानी के विस्तार का भावार्थ समझ लिया है हमने!

You are the only constant

In my universe of ax² + bx + c

In between these chaotic coefficients and unknowns

You somehow ensure, 

I don't loose my value,

Even in the most difficult equations! ❤️

If today's war takes my life tomorrow

Just know that,

I built an empire of the fondest memories,

In the space where our eyes met,

And we exchanged the warmth

Of knowing each other for many lifetimes. 

Right now, at this moment I feel

dumbstruck for not knowing how to say what is Felt but Unknown, Discussed but Unspoken for many generations!💗💗
